CHESTER, Pa. – The 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup continued with the Philadelphia Union earning a 7-nil win against Defence Force FC in the Second Leg of their Round One series, to win 12-nil on aggregate, on Thursday at Subaru Park in Chester, Pennsylvania, USA.  

The MLS side scored early and often, getting on the board in the 7’ when Geiner Martínez hit a left-footed curler for his first goal with the club.

Philadelphia doubled its lead in the 10’ as Jovan Lukic converted from the penalty spot. 

Stas Korzeniowski added to the scoring in the 12’ as he finished off brilliant passing sequence. He netted his second of the game in the 48’ with a shot from close range to record the brace. 

In the 53’, Ben Bender extended the advantage with his debut goal for the Union. 

Cavan Sullivan put the finishing touches on the victory for the reigning MLS Supporters’ Shield winners, with goals in the 76’ and the 88’. 

The Philadelphia Union advance to the Round of 16, where the U.S. side will play Club América in March.
