Sunderland have been credited with interest in £25m-rated Osasuna centre-back Enzo Boyomo ahead of the summer window.

According to Sunderland Echo, Everton and Brighton are also monitoring the 24-year-old after an impressive showing against Barcelona, and Serie A club Como are keeping tabs.

Boyomo built his reputation in Spain with Albacete and Real Valladolid, helping the latter win promotion to La Liga before joining Osasuna in 2024 on a five-year deal.

Born in Toulouse, he spent time in Blackburn Rovers’ academy before moving to Spain, and has since become a La Liga regular and a Cameroon international.

Régis Le Bris’ side are expected to strengthen again this summer as they look to build on their first season back in the Premier League.

Centre-back could be one area under review, with Sunderland targeting athletic profiles that can develop, carry experience from major European leagues and offer potential resale value.
