Sunderland complete the signing of midfielder Jules Ahoka | OneFootball

Sunderland have announced the signing of midfielder Jules Ahoka for a reported €10 million (approx £8.6 million).

The DR Congo youth international, who featured at this summer's Toulon tournament, joins the club from Royal Antwerp after making his senior debut for the club last season and featuring in his former side's first two games of the current campaign.

"I am very happy and proud to join Sunderland," Ahoka said on his arrival after penning a five-year deal with the Premier League team.

"It is a big Club with great ambitions, and I am excited to be here.

"I want to work hard, learn from my team-mates and the staff, and continue developing as a player.

"I will give everything for the Club and I cannot wait to get started."

Ahoka becomes the Black Cats' third senior signing of the summer following the arrivals of Thomas Meunier and Dayann Methalie.
