Sunderland confirm 2026-27 pre-season, USA tour and Stadium of Light friendly | OneFootball

Sunderland have confirmed their full pre-season programme for 2026-27, including a three-match tour of the United States and a home friendly. The club confirmed further dates against York City, RC Lens and Stade Rennais as Régis Le Bris’ side finalise preparations.

The schedule opens at York City on Saturday, July 18 at the LNER Community Stadium, kick-off three pm BST.

The squad will then spend a week in Nashville, Tennessee, concluding with Liverpool at Geodis Park on Saturday, July 25, kick-off five pm CDT.

Next comes Leeds United in Harrison, New Jersey on Thursday, July 30 at Sports Illustrated Stadium, kick-off seven thirty pm EDT.

The stateside leg ends against Wrexham at Subaru Park in Chester, Pennsylvania on Sunday, August two, kick-off 12pm EDT.

After returning to Wearside, Sunderland face RC Lens in France on Saturday, August eight. A Sunderland XI meet a Lens XI behind closed doors at 11am BST, before a different XI plays at Stade Bollaert-Delelis at four pm BST.

The final warm-up, and only home game, is against Stade Rennais at the Stadium of Light on Saturday, August 15, kick-off three pm BST. The club said further details, including ticketing and streaming, will follow in due course.
