Sunderland are stepping up their move for Toulouse left back Dayann Methalie as the final five weeks of the window begin. Régis Le Bris wants cover on the left.

RMC reports Sunderland are in advanced talks with Toulouse and have an agreement with the 20-year-old, with a package around £25 million under discussion. A five-year deal would follow if the clubs agree a fee. He has often been used as a wing back.
