Sunderland launch three-tier membership with ballots, waiting list and app plans explained | OneFootball

Sunderland have launched a three-tier membership for 2026/27, on sale Tuesday morning, Sunderland Echo reports. This covers season card holders, adults without a season card and juniors.

Season Ticket Plus for existing holders includes away ballot access, content, offers and mascot ballots for ages six to 12. Black Cats Adult costs 48 per season and covers the home ballot and the season-ticket waiting list. Black Cats Academy costs 30 for the first child and 20 thereafter, mirroring the adult tier and adding the mascot ballot.

Ticket forwarding is not expected to be affected and existing rights remain. Membership is optional for season card holders, the question is whether the fee is worth away ballot access and extras. Non-members can buy home tickets only after members, and with season cards sold out again, most seats likely to go via the ballot.

One membership is understood to equal one ticket, so groups would each need a membership. Non season ticket holders cannot enter the away ballot. Black Cats Points is unchanged, though 10% of away allocations will go to the ballot, and high-point holders keep priority on the rest.

The previous waiting list has closed, with a new list opening at 10am Tuesday via membership and places held while you remain a member. A new app is due later this summer to host content. Europa League home ticketing is unconfirmed, with no suggestion season card holders will need membership, while Black Cats Adult gives non-holders access to the Europa home ballot.
