Sunderland outline new three-tier membership, ticket ballots and waiting list explained | OneFootball

Sunderland have launched a three-tier membership for the 2026/27 season, on sale from 10am on Tuesday. Further club communication is expected before launch.

According to Sunderland Echo, the tiers are Season Ticket Plus at £20, Black Cats Adult at £48, and Black Cats Academy at £30 for the first child and £20 thereafter. A new app later this summer will host extra content.

Season Ticket Plus adds access to the away ballot, plus content, mascot ballots for ages six to 12, and rewards. Black Cats Adult brings the home ballot and the season-ticket waiting list with the same perks. Academy mirrors Adult and retains mascot access.

Season card ticket forwarding is understood to be unaffected, and existing rights stay the same. Season Ticket Plus is optional and buys entry to the away ballot.

Non-members can still buy home tickets, but only after members. With 2026/27 season cards sold out, most seats are likely to go via ballots. One membership is expected to equal one ticket, with full balloting details to follow.

Black Cats Points will run as before, with 10% of away allocations kept for ballots. High points totals will still bring priority on remaining away tickets, though numbers available will be lower.

A new season-ticket waiting list opens from 10am on Tuesday for members, with places held while you remain a member. Europa League home plans are unconfirmed and there is no suggestion they will be tied to membership, though non season card holders would need Black Cats Adult to enter ballots.
