Sunderland have no intention of selling Brian Brobbey in the January transfer window and value the forward at around £50m.

Brobbey is attracting interest from several clubs after an impressive start to the season for Sunderland, which included a hat-trick against Manchester City before the international break.

Brobbey scored all three goals in a 5-3 defeat at the Etihad, joining an exclusive group of players to score a Premier League hat-trick for a losing side.

This season, Brobbey leads all Premier League forwards for touches in the opposition box, ranks second for duels won, and third for Expected Goals (xG). His physical profile has thrived in English football to earn admiration from rival clubs.

Manchester United have been named as potential suitors, as the Red Devils seek an alternative to Benjamin Sesko at number nine. Clubs across Europe are also watching the Netherlands international, including Juventus, though Sunderland have no interest in a sale at this stage.

Flashscore are reporting that Sunderland have slapped a £50m asking price on Brobbey in a bid to ward off suitors. The 24-year-old signed for Sunderland from Ajax for an initial fee of around £17m in 2025 and has scored 10 timesin 38 appearances across all competitions.
