Sunderland ‘to net’ seven-figure windfall from US pre-season tour

Regis Le Bris' side begin with York City at the LNER Community Stadium on Saturday, 18 July, then depart for Nashville, Tennessee, where a week ends with Liverpool on Saturday, 25 July.

They move on to Harrison, New Jersey, to face Leeds on Thursday, 30 July, before concluding the US leg against Wrexham in Chester, Pennsylvania, on Sunday, 2 August.

The Black Cats finish with RC Lens in France on Saturday, 8 August, and a Stadium of Light meeting with Stade Rennais on Saturday, 15 August.

"It's going to be making between £1 million and maybe £2.5 million, over all the things that I can see."
