Sunderland will open a new official store at The Bridges at 9am on Friday, 12 June, in partnership with Fanatics, marking a return to the city centre after a long absence. It will complement the Stadium of Light outlet.

According to Sunderland Echo, a launch event will feature mascots Samson and Delilah, with the first customer receiving an exclusive gift. Giveaways include a Spin-to-Win Wheel with hospitality tickets and signed shirts among the prizes.

Sunderland finished seventh in the Premier League and reached next season’s Europa League after a dramatic 2-1 win over Chelsea at the Stadium of Light. It will be the club’s first European campaign in more than 50 years, with extra home games expected to boost city footfall.

Friday also brings the 2026-27 training wear launch with Hummel, on sale in-store from 9am. Further ranges will follow over the summer, including home, away and third kits. The club have teased a distinctive American link for the away strip, ahead of a pre-season tour to the United States later this summer.

The Bridges store has been designed with a broader gifting range alongside core kit, while the Stadium of Light site remains the flagship. The new shop also creates jobs, with an assistant manager role advertised before opening.
