Sunderland face late-window decisions as interest in Robin Roefs and Wilson Isidor emerges alongside confirmed exits and possible departures.
According to Sunderland Echo, Dan Neil and Arthur Masuaku have left, while Anthony Patterson could move if the right opportunity arises. The club have played down suggestions that Eliezer Mayenda might go despite links to Paris FC.
In Türkiye, Isidor has been linked with Beşiktaş after Tammy Abraham joined Aston Villa. The Istanbul side are assessing forwards and exploratory contact has been mooted. There is no indication Sunderland would engage, nor clarity on what shape any bid might take.
Any transfer for Isidor appears unlikely given Sunderland’s position and the time left, unless a compelling proposal arrives. The Frenchman is under contract until June 2028 after a permanent move from Zenit Saint Petersburg last January following a loan.
Patterson’s situation remains one to watch with Millwall still interested. No agreement is in place, and any late movement would likely send Sunderland into the market for a replacement goalkeeper before the deadline.
Roefs is viewed as part of the long-term plan, yet Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring the Dutch goalkeeper ahead of the summer after an impressive debut season in the Premier League. Sunderland’s focus is on balance in the final days.
With exits already banked and further deals only possible rather than certain, much of the current noise remains speculative.
