Sunderland resume Premier League action on Sunday as Spurs visit the Stadium of Light, with a two pm kick-off. Spurs are chasing points to pull clear of the relegation zone, and Roberto De Zerbi takes charge for the first time since replacing Igor Tudor.

According to Sunderland Echo, Le Bris and De Zerbi delivered fitness updates on Friday. Reinildo, Enzo Le Fee and Nordi Mukiele are expected to play a bigger part for Sunderland, while Conor Gallagher, Joao Palinha and Lucas Bergvall should feature for Spurs after injury.

Guglielmo Vicario is out after hernia surgery during the break. He is expected back later this month but Sunday is too soon. Antonin Kinsky therefore looks set for his first appearance since being withdrawn in the first half of the Champions League first leg defeat to Atletico Madrid.

Mathys Tel is available after an injury in the defeat to Nottingham Forest before the break. He has trained this week.

Dan Ballard is out with a hamstring problem. He missed the Tyne-Wear derby and Northern Ireland's play-off defeat to Italy and is close to returning, but will not feature on Sunday.

Robin Roefs is available after about five weeks out with a hamstring issue. He trained this week after the derby came too soon.
