Christian Pulisic and Christopher Nkunku are expected to start in the Milan attack against Rasmus Hojlund’s Napoli in the Supercoppa Italiana semifinal tonight.

It kicks off at 20:00 CET (19:00 GMT) at the King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The other semifinal between Inter and Bologna will be played tomorrow, Friday, December 19, at the same venue.

The Partenopei, the 2024-25 Serie A winners, will see Stanislav Lobotka return to the starting XI, according to Sky Sport and other Italian media, but Kevin De Bruyne, Billy Gilmour and Frank Zambo Anguissa and Alex Meret are still injured.

Milan, last season’s Coppa Italia runners-up, must cope without Rafael Leao, who continued to train separately on the eve of the game. Matteo Gabbia is injured and will be replaced by Koni De Winter.

Pulisic and Nkunku will start up front for the Rossoneri with Luka Modric in central midfield, Davide Bartesaghi and Alexis Saelemaekers on the wings.
