Per Le Progres, Tamar Svetlin has been fast-tracked at ASSE, completing pre-season with Korona Kielce then earning a starting place by his second match.

He arrived in the Forez on 10 August as the first-team squad’s final summer recruit and settled quickly, barely time to meet new team-mates before his debut four days later.

Sent on in the 15th minute against Grenoble, he replaced João Ferreira after a head knock.

Svetlin later described that first outing as unusual, saying the opening half was physically demanding and noting he was playing alongside high-quality team-mates.

Despite the swift promotion, he remains clear about the work and consistency he still needs to develop.
