Swansea City beat Watford 2-0 to rise from third to first in the Championship.

Eom Ji-sung opened the scoring in the eighth minute, guiding in from the centre of the box after Adam Idah's cross.

Idah doubled the lead from Eom's through ball (29.), the pair switching roles to put Swansea in control before the break.

Federico Ravaglia made six saves for the Hornets. Swansea recorded a third clean sheet of the campaign, with Lawrence Vigouroux saving three shots.

After the restart, Melker Widell's introduction added thrust, teeing up Eom for a low effort that Ravaglia parried.

The Hornets lost Omar Traoré to a first half injury, with Branimir Mlačić coming on before the interval.

Swansea had 60% possession and 18 attempts, eight on target. The Hornets managed nine attempts and three on target.
