Swansea City are continuing to assess Josh Key ahead of Saturday’s trip to Lincoln City after the defender picked up a hamstring issue.

The 26-year-old was taken off at half-time during last weekend’s 3-1 win over Burnley and has yet to return to full training.

“Josh is still being assessed to see how he is at the moment,” Swansea boss Vitor Matos said.

“It’s still open and we have one more training session left before the next game, so we will see how that goes.

“He hasn’t been training, but he’s been doing specific work to help him. We are awaiting one more scan to determine the outcome.”

Matos otherwise expects to have a largely unchanged squad available for the trip.

“Everyone else is looking okay for the weekend,” he added.

Ross Stewart is expected to return after the international break, while Cameron Burgess remains sidelined with an Achilles injury.
