Should Paulo Duarte recall Mohamed Bayo in March?

Back in the spotlight thanks to his performances in Turkey, Mohamed Bayo could be the surprise package of the upcoming international break for the Guinean national team.
After a quiet spell at Lille, Mohamed Bayo was loaned out to Gaziantep FK. And it's in Turkey that he's rediscovering his goal-scoring touch.
The 27-year-old striker has tallied 10 goals and 1 assist in 18 matches in the Turkish Süper Lig. He’s found the net three times in his last four outings, including in the 1-2 defeat to Trabzonspor on Saturday.
These performances have fueled rumors about a possible return for the Clermont-Ferrand native to the Guinean national side, for whom he has scored 8 goals in 29 appearances. His last outing for the Syli National was against Ethiopia (0-3) on October 15, 2024.
It’s worth noting that Paulo Duarte’s men will face Togo on March 27, and then Benin on the 31st of the same month in Morocco. That could be the perfect opportunity to see the former Clermont striker back in action for Guinea.
