One popular football pundit has recently dropped his Everton vs Chelsea score predictions for today and also talks on the title chatter.

Enzo Maresca has consistently played down any talk of Chelsea being in a title race right now, despite the fact that they could go top of the Premier League table today, even if just for a short time.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea already agree terms for player to sign in the summer!

Chelsea are currently in second place behind Liverpool, and both teams play today. If Chelsea beat Everton, they will go top. But then Liverpool are playing later in the day and could cancel that out straight away with a win away to Tottenham. Although that will not be an easy game for them.

There’s no easy game in this league as we know, and Chelsea will find it tough to break down a well organised, tough, and tall Everton defence today under a manager who we know will make them defensively solid. The onus will be on Chelsea to break that down once again and find solutions to get a goal.

Shearer makes his calls

Shearer backing Chelsea today

Popular pundit Alan Shearer believes Chelsea will win today.

Shearer told The Metro: “Everton should take confidence from last weekend. Jordan Pickford was outstanding. Also with the takeover, great news for Everton looking forward but I don’t think that’ll have too much of an effect on the pitch.

“I think that the form Chelsea are in, the teams Maresca is able to put out I’d think that Chelsea will go to Goodison and take all the points. Any team that are sat in second, in the form that Chelsea are in, are in the title race. But I still think they’ll have a blip and I’m not sure they’ll end up in second but they’re there and you have to take them seriously. You can’t just say they have no chance. Of course they’ve got a chance. I still don’t think they’ll win it, though. Prediction: Chelsea win.”
