ASSE have signed Slovenia international Tamar Svetlin on a four-year deal after he passed his medical. Le Progres reports that the 25-year-old has joined from Korona Kielce.

Capped 7 times, he was voted player of the season at Korona in his only year there.

He strengthens a midfield already reinforced by the arrivals of Breum, Ballo and Csongvai. He had also attracted interest from Lech Poznan.

ASSE are thought to have paid a little over 2 million euros to seal the move. Sporting director Loïc Perrin has described him as technically secure, comfortable in possession and with the personality to integrate quickly.

Typically used as a playmaker, he ended last season with 2 goals and 1 assist. He could complement Joakob Breum or drop deeper alongside Aron Consgvai.
