According to BuLi News, Edmond Tapsoba has agreed a new contract with Bayer Leverkusen after the club rejected a €40 million bid from the Premier League.
The Burkina Faso international has long been a target for clubs in England.

He can now expect a significant salary increase, reportedly taking him to the "highest level for a defender".
Tapsoba, 27, joined Leverkusen from Portuguese side Vitória Guimarães in January 2020.
Since then, he has developed into a key presence at the back, making 267 appearances, scoring 13 goals and providing eight assists.
