Following two convincing league victories, Leeds United Women take to the FA WNL Cup Group stage, facing rivals Halifax Women in Group T.

On the visit to the Myra Shay, Simon Wood has named his starting XI for the away cup clash, making three changes to his side that defeated Chester-le-Street Town Ladies on Sunday.

Holly Mears retains her spot between the sticks, with a back four of skipper Shauna Legge, Izzy Dean, Emily Cassidy and Alayna Millard ahead of her. Millard makes her first start of the season.

In midfield are Alice Hughes, Kath Smith and Ella Harris, who makes her full debut for the Whites, just behind a front three of Chloe Dixon, Darcie Greene and Sunday’s hattrick hero Amy Woodruff.

On the bench is Carrie Simpson who is joined by Drew Greene, Ellie White, Abbie Langstaff, Ruby Waldron. Monique Watson and Brittany Sanderson also make the squad after returning from injury.
