Amy Gallacher and Lucy Ashworth Clifford both make welcome returns to the Celtic starting XI with the front two of Gallacher and Agnew’s providing the goal threat for the Scottish Champions. Much though is going to be determined by how Celtic perform defensively with the back three of Hayes, Clark and Bruna certainly going to be tested by this speedy Madrid side.

In Kelsey Daugherty Celtic have a keeper who is easily as good as most at this level of football and the American will need to be at her very best if Celtic are to take anything from this game. Wing backs Lawton and Ashworth-Clifford will have to put in record KMs running over the 90 minutes, getting up the park and then back to shore things up and attempt to keep Real Madrid out.
Colette Cavanagh starts in Madrid
Natalie Ross and Colette Cavanagh will be busy in the centre midfield and both are more than capable of making their presence felt.
On the bench for Celtic FC Women at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stéfano this evening are the two keepers Logan, and Rodgers plus Richardson, Smith, the Carsten twins, McGregor, Kerner (welcome back Hana!), Cross, Noonan, Luana and McAneny.
Best of luck to the Ghirls, give it all you’ve got, no-one can ask for more than that.
