Téléfoot to stay on TF1 with new Sunday follow-on show | OneFootball

Téléfoot will remain on TF1, with the broadcasters agreeing a new Sunday follow-on show to air straight after. The TF1 and L'Équipe groups said on Thursday they had reached a deal centred on the long-running programme.

The historic TF1 football magazine, once slated for the chop, will return from six September, still on Sunday mornings at 11.00, hosted by Grégoire Margotton.

A second weekly programme under the Téléfoot banner, with its exact title yet to be confirmed, will then run immediately afterwards on the L'Équipe channel.

Also fronted by Margotton and produced with TF1’s sports department, the new show will bring together journalists, columnists and consultants from both groups, including Bixente Lizarazu.

After the live broadcast, the magazine will be available on the TF1+ platform. It will continue to feature Ligue 1 footage following an agreement with LFP Media.
