Here are ten of the biggest free agents available right now…

10. Cesar Azpilicueta

A week on from his departure from Atletico Madrid, Azpilicueta is now a free agent after 54 appearances in two years. The former Chelsea defender is currently attracting interest from several clubs, including Celta Vigo and Inter Milan. The 35-year-old won 11 trophies whilst at Chelsea.

9. Kyle Walker-Peters

Former Southampton defender Walker-Peters’ five and a half year spell at St Mary’s came to an end last week, but he is not short of interested parties in his services. Tottenham, Fulham, West Ham and Everton are all keen on securing the 28-year-old fullback’s signature, who is able to play on either the right or left side.

8. Nelson Semedo

Capped 44 times by Portugal, Semedo’s spell at Wolves ended last week after a fruitful five seasons at Molineux. Semedo had been handed the captaincy mid season following Mario Lemina’s departure, and over the past couple of seasons had become a dependable defender for a Wolves side flirting with relegation. The 31-year-old reportedly has a contract offer to remain at the club.

7. Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Linked to the likes of Manchester United and Newcastle, Calvert-Lewin’s time at Everton came to an end after scoring just three times in 26 Premier League appearances last season. The 28-year-old has missed 50 games through injury in the past three seasons.

6. Victor Lindelof

Lindelof’s eight-year spell at Manchester United ended at the expiry of his contract, with the 30-year-old making 284 appearances for the Red Devils. The Swedish international is reportedly keen on remaining in the Premier League, with the likes of West Ham, Everton and Fulham among various other clubs interested in securing his services.

5. Christian Eriksen

Another Manchester United player to depart the club, Eriksen spent two-years at the club after a positive return to football with Brentford during the 2022/23 season following his health scare at Euro 2020. Eriksen has reportedly stated his desire to move abroad for his next club, with former side Ajax, Espanyol and Besiktas all keen on the Dane.

4. Takehiro Tomiyasu

Tomiyasu’s departure from Arsenal was only announced last Friday as the Japanese international called time on his north London career after just 84 appearances. Signed from Bologna in 2021, Tomiyasu missed 268 days of the 2024/25 season after an injury hit campaign which restricted him to just six minutes of football.

3. Callum Wilson

Another player who struggled with injuries last season, Wilson scored 49 goals in 130 matches for Newcastle after signing for the Magpies following Bournemouth’s relegation in 2020. The 33-year-old only featured 18 times in the Premier League in 2024/25, and has suitors from the top flight and MLS clubs.

2. Thomas Muller

A legend of Bayern Munich and German football, Thomas Muller waved goodbye to Bavaria after the Bundesliga champions were knocked out of the Club World Cup by PSG in the quarter-finals. The 35-year-old has interest from across the globe, including clubs in the MLS and Italian side Fiorentina. It will be interesting to see where the German goes.

1. Lucas Vazquez

Still at Real Madrid until the completion of their Club World Cup campaign, Vazquez will bring to an end his ten year career at Los Blancos. The 34-year-old Spanish international has made 401 appearances for Real, winning five Champions League titles in the process. Vazquez has interest from Spanish clubs as well as sides in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United States.
