Real Madrid’s defeat to Getafe at the Santiago Bernabéu has left more than just a dent in their title hopes.

The 0-1 loss marked their second straight La Liga setback after falling 1-2  to Osasuna, and it has complicated their push in the La Liga title race.

Now sitting four points behind leaders Barcelona, the pressure is building fast.

As expected, the mood at Santiago Bernabeu was tense, with boos echoing around the stadium at full-time.

Supporters are clearly frustrated, and concern is growing ahead of a crucial Champions League clash with Manchester City.

Tension within the team

This season has felt unstable, as Real Madrid have struggled to find rhythm, swinging between strong performances and disappointing setbacks.

That inconsistency is not just visible on the pitch. It is reportedly affecting the atmosphere inside the dressing room as well.

According to reports shared on El Chiringuito TV, the situation behind closed doors is far from calm. Journalist Edu Aguirre revealed concerning details about the internal dynamic.

“There are a lot of people who are very thin-skinned. In other words, if someone speaks up or calls someone out, that person gets angry and lashes out. And an argument ensues,” he said.

That suggests frustration is no longer being contained. Instead of healthy competition, disagreements are turning personal.

Aguirre went further, highlighting what he believes is a lack of strong leadership inside the squad.

“This is happening, that a heavyweight raises their voice in the dressing room and immediately sparks fly with ‘you’re worse’.

“It’s worrying that there aren’t two or three leaders in the dressing room who can lay their cards on the table. There’s tension,” he explained.

These words will not calm Real Madrid supporters who are already uneasy about the team’s direction.

As such, results can fix many problems in football, but when tension starts to show inside the dressing room, the challenge becomes even bigger.
