Ter Stegen hails “unstoppable” Barcelona under Hansi Flick | OneFootball

Marc-André ter Stegen has found regular playing time at Ajax during his loan spell from Barcelona, earning his way back into the starting XI for the German national team.

The 34-year-old has been keeping an eye on his parent club from afar and has been impressed by their performances under German coach Hansi Flick, with Barcelona winning every game so far this season.

“FC Barcelona are unstoppable right now and that is what I wish them because they are working hard with Hansi Flick as coach and I wish them from a distance obviously the best,” ter Stegen told Teledeporte after Germany's 1-1 draw with the Netherlands on Thursday.

"I'm at another club and focused on that, but I'm always also looking at what they are doing and I'm very happy for them that it is going so well."

Ter Stegen remains under contract with Barcelona until 2028.
