La Liga champions Barcelona are eyeing reinforcements in a trio of positions with a view to next season.

That’s according to Fichajes, who highlight centre-back, right-back and centre-forward as the roles in question.

Hansi Flick’s Barca are of course fresh off something of a rude awakening on the continent on Tuesday night.

After making the trip to Stamford Bridge to lock horns with Chelsea in the Champions League, the Blaugrana were condemned to the wrong side of an eventual 3-0 result.

As much highlight not only the injury problems in Catalunya’s capital at present, but also some of the evident shortcomings in Barcelona’s squad.

In turn, it should come as little surprise to hear of Deco and co. already drawing up a list of targets for next summer.

As per a report from Fichajes, competition is wanted for the underperforming Jules Koundé at right-back.

Elsewhere, owing to a combination of the woes of Ronald Araújo, and the uncertain future of Andreas Christensen, fresh blood is being sought at centre-back.

And finally, with Robert Lewandowski inching towards the conclusion of his contract terms, a long-term replacement at centre-forward is also on the agenda with a view to next season.
