A trio of Real Madrid stars risk picking up a suspension in the club’s next outing on the continent.

This of course comes ahead of Los Blancos locking horns with Benfica on Wednesday night.

Álvaro Arbeloa’s troops currently find themselves just a draw away from booking their spot in the Last-16 of this season’s edition of the Champions League.

After emerging hard-fought victors in the tie’s opener in Lisbon last week, Real will play host to Benfica in two days’ time, desperate to bounce back following a weekend defeat at the hands of Osasuna.

As alluded to above, though, in efforts to contribute towards as much, three Real Madrid stars will be forced to walk the disciplinary tightrope.

All of Aurélien Tchouaméni, Álvaro Carreras and Dean Huijsen currently find themselves a single booking away from a Champions League suspension.

Should any of the three be shown a yellow card against Benfica on Wednesday, they will in turn be banned for Real’s hypothetical Last-16 first leg outing.
