The 4th round of the José Luis Burtovoy Apertura gets under way

With two interesting matchups, the fourth round of the Primera A Apertura Tournament gets underway, with Unión hosting La Salle, and La Casita taking on El Conquistador at the league grounds.

This Friday at La Tatenguita, the latest champion of the Liga Santafesina, Unión de Santa Fe, hosts La Salle Jobson to open the fourth round of the Primera A José Luis Burtovoy Apertura Tournament, while a little later at the Nery Pumpido grounds, Deportivo Santa Rosa will host Colón de San Justo.

The rest of the round will be played on Saturday at the usual times. The tournament leader, Sportivo Guadalupe, will visit Colón de Santa Fe at the grounds.

The fourth round of the Polaca Burtovoy gets underway

With two highly attractive matches, this Friday will feature two early fixtures of the fourth round of the main tournament organized by the Liga Santafesina de Fútbol. At 4 p.m., at La Tatenguita, located alongside the highway, Unión de Santa Fe will host La Salle Jobson with Nicolás Mottier as referee, while from 9:30 p.m., at the Nery Pumpido grounds, Deportivo Santa Rosa will play against Colón de San Justo under the officiating of Ignacio Castellano. The Tatengue side is coming off a 0-0 draw with Cosmos, while the Colegial team thrashed Nacional 3-1.

On Saturday, April 11, from 4 p.m., the rest of the schedule will be played. Leaders Sportivo Guadalupe will visit Colón de Santa Fe at the Nery Pumpido grounds, while La Perla del Oeste, in Recreo Sur, will host Ciclón Norte de Cayastá. In the Roma neighborhood, another of the runners-up, Independiente de Santo Tomé, will visit Newell’s of barrio Roma at its venue on Mendoza 4000. At the Mauricio Martínez stadium, El Quillá will face Sanjustino.

The standings are currently as follows: Sportivo Guadalupe 9; La Perla del Oeste, Colón, La Salle Jobson and Independiente 6; Colón de San Justo, Náutico El Quillá, Las Flores II, Nacional, Nobleza and Ateneo Inmaculada 4; Universidad del Litoral, Ciclón Norte de Cayastá, Academia Cabrera, Sanjustino, Ciclón Racing and Juventud Unida de Candioti 3; Cosmos and Newell’s 1; Gimnasia y Esgrima and Deportivo Santa Rosa 0.

Pending matches from the third round

Several matches from the third round of the tournament that had to be rescheduled due to adverse weather conditions will be played next Wednesday, April 15. At 9 p.m., at the 8 de Enero sports complex, located in the residential neighborhood of Guadalupe, Ciclón Racing will host Gimnasia y Esgrima de Ciudadela.

In addition, at the Coloso del Oeste, Sanjustino will face Juventud Unida de Candioti, while from 9:30 p.m., at the Alberto Garau stadium, Las Flores II will play Deportivo Santa Rosa. Still awaiting confirmation of the date are the matches between Universidad del Litoral and El Quillá, and Colón de San Justo against Colón de Santa Fe.
