The Best Italian Kits For the 2026-27 Season

Article image:The Best Italian Kits For the 2026-27 Season

From the blue blood giants to Serie C sleepers, we dive into the best kits across Italian football ahead of the 2026-27 season.

We’re deep into the summer now, and the new kit releases are flying out left, right, and center. Some teams even released their kit for the next season before the last one even ended. A lot of focus will naturally be on the Premier League, but there are teams across the peninsula that are boosting the chances of Italy being the nation with the best kits for the 2026-27 season.

I’ve been avidly watching the shirt releases across the top three divisions in Italy because I am that much of a calcio nerd and, it’s safe to say, it’s a good year for Italian kits. From the top of Serie A to across Serie C, there are some beautiful shirts, and these are my favorites (so far).

Como Home

Starting big, the new Como kit is being lauded as the best shirt of the season, and some think it’s fitting to be an Azzurri shirt. It’s classy, slick and is a huge step-up from the last few seasons. Como qualified for the Champions League, and adidas made a kit worthy of that status. Plus, the new badge they’re using is fantastic and pairs with the shirt nicely.

Latina Home

Ezeta has been building a reputation over the last few years, making some incredible kits across the lower divisions in Italy, and this Latina effort is showing that the brand means serious business. It’s a beautiful shirt, designed with intricate detail and nods to Latina’s culture and heritage. A shirt that isn’t tied down by overkill creative guidelines.

Atalanta Home

It was a big year for New Balance and Atalanta’s partnership last season as the American brand bought the naming rights to the club’s stadium, and now it has dropped this home shirt, which is fantastic. Someone said to me it looked like a bus seat, but maybe that’s what makes it work so well?

Inter Home

Scudetto winners need a champion-worthy kit, and after Inter’s topsy-turvy few years on the kit front, Nike certainly got this one right. It’s sleek, it’s smart, and it’s not trying too hard. The collar is beautiful, and the kit is accented with gold, fit for the champions. Plus, it looks even better emblazoned with the shield on the chest.

Juventus Away

Many of you probably thought I’d include Juventus’ home in this list, but I’ve opted for their away instead. I’m a sucker for a pink kit, and Juve going back to the color is a brilliant return. It may not reach the heights of their viral 2015 one, made famous by Drake, but it’s a good effort nonetheless. Pink shirt, mixed with the vintage horse logo? Bellissimo.

Pescara Away

Pescara may have been relegated back to the third division, but that doesn’t mean they can’t look good. Their away shirt is a dark blue, with an ocean graphic to encapsulate their connection to the sea (they’re nicknamed I Delfini, after all), and is finished with a smart collar and nice sleeve cuffs. Joma quietly doing the business here.

Genoa Home

In my opinion, Genoa and Kappa are a match made in heaven. The last few years have been incredible to witness, and they’ve hit the mark yet again this season. It’s a beautiful shirt, combining a smart collar and the cuffs with the details and then the classic half-and-half colorway. No gold, though, but it’s still a wonderful shirt.

Bologna Away

If you’ve been taking notice of the kit releases this summer, you’ve probably noticed that Macron has produced some fantastic shirts. Quietly going about their business, the brand hit another perfect note with their Bologna away effort. It’s clean, complemented nicely by the curved red piping and topped off with a slick collar. Delightful.

Napoli Home

Napoli are celebrating 100 years this year, and many fans were expecting a very special centenary kit. Concepts were flying around the internet all summer long until the club unveiled this effort, a nod to their 100 years through the lens of their most successful period. This kit is, effectively, a modern take on the kits worn during their Maradona era but with a splash of gold and a special edition crest. Vintage style from EA7. I love it.

Sassuolo Away

Finally, this Sassuolo number is a fantastic floral effort from PUMA that’ll have Neroverdi looking sleek playing away from home in Serie A. Fabio Grosso might have departed for Florence, but Alberto Aqualini is at the helm, and he’ll be hoping his side can play football as good as they look. I wonder if my partner would accept this as a form of flowers? Hmmm.

Italy are well renowned for having some of the nicest kits in the history of the game. From classic Milan and Roma pieces and beyond into the lower divisions, kit collectors revere Italian football for their shirts. And this summer has been another spectacular one for Italian teams and their kits, and it seems to be continuing.
