The game of the round on Bundesliga Matchday 32 will take place at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK. Having climbed to sixth position – whose occupant will qualify for the Conference League play-offs – in the standings at the weekend, the Black & Yellows are looking higher up the table. Fourth place (UEFA Champions League) is three points away, while fifth place (UEFA Europa League) is one away. The aim is to take the next step by beating VfL Wolfsburg on home turf – and to keep their run against the Wolves going: BVB have not lost any of their last 11 home games against the Lower Saxony outfit (nine victories and two draws).
Saturday 3 May (19:00 CEST): Women's handball team vs. TuS MetzingenWho will qualify for the semi-finals of the German Championship? As group runners-up after the main round, TuS Metzingen are the quarter-final opponents. The women's handball team had won the first game in the best-of-three series and already had one foot in the semi-finals, only to concede an equaliser seconds before the final whistle sounded. Metzingen emerged victorious after extra-time, meaning that qualification for the semi-final must now be decided in a third match.
Sunday 4 May (11:00 CEST): Bayern Munich vs. U19sThe U19s made a big statement on Saturday and ran out 3-0 victors against VfL Bochum in the last 16 of the German Championship finals. Mike Tullberg's team now face a quarter-final tie away to FC Bayern Munich, who eliminated VfL Wolfsburg thanks to a 3-2 victory.
Sunday 11 May (15:30 CEST): Bayer Leverkusen vs. BVBThe last away match of the season will take BVB to Bayer Leverkusen. The double-winners from last season are currently in second spot in the table, eight points behind Bayern Munich. The Black & Yellows have fond memories of their last three away trips to the Werkself: the team did not lose any of those games, winning two and drawing one.
Saturday 17 May (15:30 CEST): BVB vs. Holstein KielHolstein Kiel will pay a visit to SIGNAL IDUNA PARK on the final day of the season. The Northern Germans have only played in Dortmund once before in their club history. In the semi-finals of the DFB-Pokal almost exactly four years ago, BVB ran out 5-0 winners against the then second-tier team. While BVB are battling for a place in European competition, KSV (currently second-bottom in the table) are fighting for survival. Christina Reinke
