It was a highly demanding weekend for all teams of the Cantera Rojiblanca, as they faced Santos and Monterrey in their respective competitions during Matchdays 11 and 12 of the CL26. Once again, they showcased their competitive DNA and pride, highlighted by a pair of emphatic wins and several compelling matchups worth revisiting.

As usual, we bring you all the details from the club’s youth teams, as fans closely follow every step of Guadalajara’s development squads.

U-15A dominant win! The young squad defeated Santos 4-2 in Matchday 11 at Gigantera. Guadalajara got off to a perfect start, taking the lead in the 1st minute through Jorge Flandes, who later completed his brace in the 47th minute. Dilan Padilla (55’) and Noé Salazar (64’) extended the lead to seal the victory. Santos pulled two back through Justin Jiménez (70’) and Santiago Cárdenas (87’), but it wasn’t enough to stop the win.

With this result, the team sits second in Group 2 with 18 points.

U-17

Another emphatic win! The U-17 side also played Matchday 11, earning a commanding 4-1 victory over Santos at home. Luis Villaseñor opened the scoring in the 13th minute, followed by Edgar Vargas in the 19th. The visitors reduced the deficit in the 34th minute through Diego García, but Guadalajara sealed the win with a late brace from Stefan López (83’ and 85’), who made an immediate impact after coming on in the 76th minute.

With this win, the team strengthens its position as Group 2 leader with 23 points.

U-19The U-19 side earned an away victory against Monterrey with a 1-0 win in Matchday 12. The lone goal came in the 34th minute, scored by Brandon Brocksom, securing a disciplined and well-managed performance to claim all three points.

The team now sits ninth in the standings with 19 points, tied with sixth and seventh place.

U-21The U-21 team also visited Monterrey in Matchday 12, in a high-intensity match that ended 3-3. The game started uphill after conceding in the 2nd minute, but the response came quickly, as Leonel Calderón equalized in the 22nd minute. The match turned into a back-and-forth battle, with Diego Latorre scoring a brace (40’ and 78’). After a long and tight penalty shootout, Guadalajara secured the extra point.

With this result, the team moves up to fourth place overall with 22 points.

Women’s U-19The women’s U-19 side faced Santos in Matchday 11 in a match that became complicated early after conceding two quick goals. Despite their effort and persistence, the visitors held on to their lead and took the win.

The team currently sits sixth in Group 2 with 12 points.
