Not even the international break slowed down Guadalajara’s momentum. While some players were representing the Tri, the team kept up its intensity at Verde Valle with its sights set on the next challenge: the matchup against Atlético de San Luis, corresponding to Matchday 4 of the Clausura 2026, to be played this Saturday, January 31, in San Luis Potosí.

And among the fans, one of the most frequently asked questions over the past few days has been: when will the eight Rojiblancos return to work with Chivas? Here’s everything you need to know.

During this international break, eight Guadalajara players were called up by the Selección Mexicana for the friendly matches against Panama and Bolivia, part of the Tri’s preparation on the road to the FIFA World Cup 2026.

The Rojiblanco presence once again stood out. Raúl ‘Tala’ Rangel started both matches and delivered solid performances between the posts, while ‘Richy’ Ledezma and Brian Gutiérrez experienced special moments by making their debuts with El Tricolor.

When do they return to training with Chivas?

The good news for the coaching staff led by Gabriel Milito is that all of the call-ups will report back this Tuesday at Verde Valle, ready to immediately rejoin collective training and arrive in optimal condition for Saturday’s match.

The players rejoining the squad are:

Raúl Rangel, Richard Ledezma, Bryan González, Luis Romo, Brian Gutiérrez, Roberto Alvarado, Ángel Sepúlveda and Armando González.

With the squad nearly at full strength once again, the Rebaño fine-tunes details and accelerates its preparation in search of another positive result in its Clausura 2026 campaign.
