Furthermore, Fletcher reports that it is expected that any deal Manchester City agrees with Forest to sign Anderson could reach up to £100 million. It is reported that sources close to both clubs expect significant movement on the Anderson deal ‘within 48 hours’. Lastly, Fletcher reports that Manchester United have moved on to other transfer targets. United did have an interest in signing Elliot Anderson this summer. However, they are now seemingly out of the race to sign Anderson.

There is now little to suggest that City won’t land their man.
