However, Chelsea aren’t done there, with the Blues still looking to close deals for Garnacho and Xavi Simons before the end of the window.

Chelsea could go up to £40m for Alejandro Garnacho

The Blues have been linked with a move for Garnacho all summer, but are yet to make an offer for the 21-year-old.

Chelsea have reportedly agreed personal terms with Garnacho, with the deal believed to be completely done on the player side.

Fabrizio Romano has stated Garnacho will become a Chelsea player, but there’s still a gap in valuation between the Blues and United.

Manchester United are said to want £50m for the Argentine, whilst Chelsea are thought to value the winger at around £30m.

The Guardian have reported a gap in valuation remains between the clubs, but they state the Blues in fact value Garnacho at £35m.

The report adds Chelsea would be prepared to go to £40m including add-ons in an attempt to get a deal done.

Garnacho has turned down approaches from Bayern Munich and the Saudi Pro League, and has made it very clear he only wants to join Chelsea.

Chelsea still negotiating for Xavi Simons

Garnacho isn’t the only attacker Chelsea are looking to bring in before the end of the window, and they are still working on a deal for Simons.

Simons had made it clear he wants to join Chelsea, but the Blues are yet to make an offer for the 22-year-old, with Leipzig thought to want a total package of £60m.

Chelsea need to sell Christopher Nkunku before advancing to try and close a deal for Simons, and there’s been talk of including the Frenchman as part of the deal.

Nkunku has interest from clubs in Germany and Italy, but the clock is ticking, and the Blues desperately need to find a solution.
