The Killers to play pre-final concert at Puskás Aréna in Budapest

The Killers will play a concert before kick-off of the Champions League final at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest.

UEFA confirmed that the American rock band, who have sold more than 35 million albums worldwide, will perform on 31 May.

The Las Vegas group will have the chance to play Mr Brightside, When You Were Young and All These Things That I’ve Done, which were hugely popular in the mid-2000s.

The event is sponsored by Pepsi, which has promoted it with a social media video featuring the four band members and David Beckham, a fellow Pepsi ambassador.

The Killers follow previous pre-final performers such as Linkin Park and Lenny Kravitz.
