Venezia FC is a unique club in Europe, notably thanks to its extraordinary setting and its city. Its stadium, the Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo, is an iconic venue right in the heart of Venice. But the stadium is becoming increasingly outdated, so the club will leave this historic ground and move to a new stadium on the mainland: the “Bosco dello Sport”.

The Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo is a truly unique stadium. Located in Venice on the island of Sant’Elena, the stadium sits right on the waterfront, next to a marina.

To reach the stadium, you can walk for 30 minutes along the waterfront from the Doge’s Palace or... take a boat! Yes, Venezia supporters travel to the stadium by boat, including away fans arriving at the away section, making this a truly unique access route in Europe!

The atmosphere of the neighbourhood, the walk through Venice, the authentic stadium in its original condition, arriving at the stadium by boat... attending a match in Venice is an experience that absolutely has to be lived.

A new stadium from autumn 2027.

The Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo will host its final full season for Venezia FC before making way for a new stadium being built on the mainland.

The Bosco dello Sport is being built less than 2 km from Venice Marco Polo Airport. A modern new stadium designed to meet current standards, provide a better matchday experience and generate new revenue streams for the club.

The new stadium will have a capacity of 18,500, with new high-end VIP areas and new experiences for supporters. The venue is being designed to host Venezia FC matches as well as international friendly matches, concerts, festivals, major events and more.

There will also be 2,800 parking spaces across 7 car parks nearby to make access to the stadium easier.

The move to the new stadium is scheduled for autumn 2027.
