Raphinha was once again the star performer of the game for Barcelona as they secured a 2-0 win over CA Osasuna this past weekend.
In a game where Barcelona struggled to find space, it was Raphinha who broke the crucial deadlock in the 70th minute.
He latched onto a pass from Pedri, controlled it on the run, and unleashed a precise strike to make it 1-0, with the Brazilian eventually scoring the second 15 minutes later.
Raphinha’s performance against Osasuna was yet another indicator of the Brazilian’s presence and importance in the team.
Since the defeat at the Santiago Bernabeu against Real Madrid, the Blaugrana have won every league match, a run of form that coincides perfectly with Raphinha’s return from injury.

In the last four league matches he has played, the former Leeds United star has been involved in four goals.
His brace against Osasuna was particularly symbolic as the forward has now reached 60 goals for Barcelona, equalling Johan Cruyff in the club’s all-time scoring charts but achieving the feat in fewer games (157 vs 180).
Despite missing nine matches this season, he has already tallied 6 goals and 3 assists in 14 appearances. His scoring rate of 0.42 goals per game is approaching the impressive 0.59 he set last season.
But even apart from his productivity, Raphinha has brought back the energy, competitive character, and leadership that Barcelona have been missing in their attack this season.
If he maintains this pace, he could reach 88 goals for Barcelona by the end of the season, matching Ronald Koeman and overtaking a host of club legends.
