Hansi Flick is having a great start to his time as the head coach of FC Barcelona. The German has already led his team to five wins in the first five La Liga games, which allows the Catalans to sit atop the league table with 15 points.

His appointment has also come with some significant changes in how the team is operating. The defender Eric Garcia only yesterday highlighted the change in the team’s attitude since Flick’s appointment, and this change is also quite clear in how the team is performing.

Then, during the match against Real Valladolid, he did not celebrate the seventh goal scored by his side, and it was clear that he did not like something that he saw on the pitch.

Against Girona last night, Flick also did not celebrate Olmo’s goal that made it 3-0 for Barcelona and actually walked away from the area where the players were celebrating. However, he is not always like that, as he was later seen celebrating when Pedri scored the 4th goal.

There have been several explanations for this demeanor, but one that makes the most sense is that Flick is not easily impressed and always wants the full 100% performance from all of his players. In this regard, his German mentality is a subject of surprise for the more relaxed Mediterranean country, but there is no doubt that his methods are already paying dividends for Barcelona.
