Thelwell and Stewart did big big damage to Rangers FC

Rangers fans have justified joy in seeing the backs of Kevin Thelwell and Patrick Stewart. Unfortunately the damage these miserable sods did to Rangers is going to be a problem going forward.
Thelwell is responsible for all £45M (his words) spent this summer on a pile of rubbish. And the wages they’re on are his remit too.
The squad Danny Rohl (or any manager) has at his disposal is the worst SPL Rangers squad in history, even if it should still beat Livingston with a bit to spare.
Whatever we think of Rohl (a nice guy but never a Rangers level boss) he is having to work with Youssef Chermiti, Joe Rothwell, Jayden Meghoma, Max Aarons, and a host of other mince as well.
Raskin has been AWOL for a long time, Diomande has never convinced. Thelo Aasgard has been diabolical, Manny Fernandez is just a poor defender, and there’s many more.
You cannot fix that in a January window, sadly.
There’s also the problem that the players on Rangers’ radar are still all Kevin Thelwell’s work. So any new additions this January were almost certainly scouted by him and his team.
The short version is Thelwell and Stewarts’ ghosts will haunt Rangers for a long time, the damage they did will take a huge period to be undone.
Rangers fans can be happy to be shot of them, including Ibrox Noise, but we know it doesn’t instantly fix their toxic influence.
That could be felt for a long time.
You can’t undo wasting £45M on trash overnight as Kevin Thelwell and Patrick Stewart did.
In the next entry, we reveal exclusively why they were fired. And ironically, it’s simpler than you think…
