The Spaniard has confirmed he’ll leave Bournemouth at the end of the season, and he’s attracting interest from a number of clubs.

Iraola is thought to be one of the leading contenders for the Chelsea job, with the Blues once again looking for a new head coach having sacked Liam Rosenior last month.

Crystal Palace put proposal on the table for Andoni Iraola

There’s believed to be seven or eight names under consideration, with Marco Silva and Xabi Alonso also thought to feature high in Chelsea’s thinking at this stage.

David Ornstein believes an appointment will be made early in the summer, and the Blues certainly won’t rush their decision.

Chelsea have reportedly made contact with Iraola’s agent, but it’s believed he’d need some convincing to take the job.

“Iraola still maybe hoping to see if another club wants him, but Crystal Palace are trying to get him; they offered him total transfer market control and put a proposal on the table,” he told his YouTube channel.
