Thiago Silva’s son called up to England under-15s squad

Iago Silva, the youngest son of center-back Thiago Silva, was called up on Thursday to the England Under-15 team for the two friendlies that the team will play next week against Cyprus and the United States.

The 14-year-old center-back plays in the youth ranks of Chelsea, a club his father represented for four seasons. Having lived in the country for more than five years, Iago is eligible to represent England, but he can also choose to play for Brazil.
