One Liverpool legend is just waiting for the green light before leaving the club. This will be a hard goodbye.

Liverpool have said three incredibly difficult goodbyes this summer. Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson were the big two, signing off against Brentford on the final match of the season.

Ibrahima Konate followed them as his contract came to an end. He promptly signed for Real Madrid after five years at Anfield.

Slowly but surely, more and more of Jurgen Klopp's great teams are disappearing and a new generation is coming through. It's difficult to take, admittedly, as it doesn't seem too long ago that the German was in charge.

But Liverpool fans should prepare themselves for more exits. Another that looks virtually nailed-on at this stage is Alisson Becker, whose contract expires in 2027.

It was actually due to end this summer, in fact, but a clause allowed Liverpool to extend it for one more year. That means that Juventus, who are eager to sign the goalkeeper, are made to wait.

And it certainly sounds as though they'll be waiting with good reason. Sport Mediaset reports that they're now set to sign Zion Suzuki on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, fresh after PSG purchase him from Parma.

It's a strange deal for Juventus, given there's no long-term benefit to them. However, they're apparently striking the short-term deal purely to allow them to sign Alisson next summer.

The Brazilian is keen on the move and will see out his Liverpool deal. Though, that shouldn't come as a shock - the simple idea of Juve signing a keeper on loan should show they're very confident about landing who they reall want in a year's time.

That happens to be Alisson and it's all set up for him to depart next summer. Another difficult goodbye is on the way, then - and he might not be the only one.
