On 26 September 1999 at Parma, Lazio led through Marcelo Salas before Alain Boghossian equalised. In the 69th minute Beppe Favalli crossed, Lilian Thuram cleared, and from 35 metres on the left Matias Almeyda rifled into the top right corner, leaving Buffon helpless.
