Thomas Tuchel has announced his squad for this summer's World Cup with some notable exclusions including Phil Foden, Cole Palmer, and Morgan Gibbs-White.
The Three Lions begin their World Cup campaign on June 17th when they take on Croatia before games against Ghana and Panama.
As often happens with England squads, there was news of major absences even well before the squad announcement including the aforementioned trio of Foden, Palmer, and Gibbs-White as well as Harry Maguire, Trent Alexander-Arnold, James Garner, Luke Shaw, and Adam Wharton all missing.
However, that means Tuchel was able to gamble somewhat with his team, most notably the inclusion of Ivan Toney, who has made only one appearance for England since 2024 and currently plays in the Saudi Pro League for Al-Ahli.
England's midfield looks reassuringly strong with the likes of Declan Rice, Elliot Anderson, Morgan Rogers and Kobbie Mainoo all coming off fine seasons.
Meanwhile, Harry Kane will be the main man up front once again for England with Toney or Ollie Watkins waiting in the wings.
