Thomas Tuchel names 35-man England squad for March friendlies

Thomas Tuchel has named a 35-man expanded England squad for March’s friendlies with Uruguay and Japan.
The squad is the final break before Tuchel names his travelling squad for this summer’s World Cup.
There are recalls for Manchester United duo Kobbie Mainoo and Harry Maguire, each of whom were last capped in September 2024.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin is also recognised for an excellent season at Leeds United, earning an England recall for the first time in five years.
Elsewhere, there are first-time inclusions for Brighton goalkeeper Jason Steele and Everton midfielder James Garner. Each will hope to get an opportunity to impress in an audition for a World Cup place.
