Barcelona’s transfer strategy is entering a crucial phase as the club intensifies efforts to reduce its wage bill and generate additional income ahead of a potentially busy summer in the market.
The Blaugrana hierarchy is determined to return to La Liga’s 1:1 spending rule, a key objective that would provide greater flexibility when registering new signings.
Achieving that goal requires financial adjustments before the current accounting period closes.
While Ansu Fati’s move to Monaco is already well advanced, Barcelona are also working on solutions for several other players whose futures at the club have become increasingly uncertain.
At present, according to SPORT, three names stand out as the most likely candidates to leave if suitable opportunities arise.
One of the situations attracting attention is that of Roony Bardghji, whose pathway to regular football appears blocked for now, particularly with Lamine Yamal established in his preferred position.
Recognising the importance of playing consistently at this stage of his development, Bardghji has informed the club through his representatives that he would welcome a loan move next season.

Barcelona would ideally prefer a permanent transfer that includes future control through a buy-back clause, but the club is also open to a temporary departure if that is the player’s preferred route.
Furthermore, Marc Casado is another player facing an important decision.
Despite being considered a reliable squad member, the midfielder found himself at the bottom of Hansi Flick’s midfield rotation last season.
With competition for places becoming even stronger, Casado is now evaluating whether his future lies away from Camp Nou.
The report states that his agent, although Barcelona are not actively pushing him towards the exit, they would seek at least €20 million should a transfer materialise.
Perhaps the most complicated case involves Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

The German goalkeeper endured a difficult loan spell at Girona, with injuries limiting his impact and ultimately affecting his chances of participating in the upcoming World Cup.
More importantly, Girona’s relegation has also effectively ended any possibility of extending his stay there.
Despite the setback, relations between Ter Stegen and Barcelona remain positive, and both sides are searching for a solution that benefits everyone involved.
For now, several possibilities remain on the table, including another loan, although such an arrangement would likely require Barcelona to continue paying part of his salary.
A contract termination has not been completely ruled out either, even though his current deal runs until 2028.
Right now, though, nothing has been decided, but the club is likely to act soon on these matters.
