Three clubs interested as Liverpool misfit Federico Chiesa ready to seal transfer away | OneFootball

Liverpool winger Federico Chiesa is reportedly attracting interest from three clubs as he seeks a transfer out of Anfield and back to Serie A.

The Italy international has struggled to make an impact at Liverpool since joining from Juventus back in the summer of 2024, and in many ways it’s surprising that he’s stayed as long as he has.

It might be that his Reds career is closer to coming to an end now, though, with Calciomercato reporting on the player being keen to leave, with Inter Milan, Atalanta, and Lazio monitoring his situation.

Chiesa previously looked like a top talent during his time at Juve, and it’s easy to imagine that he could get his career back on track with a return to the Italian top flight.

Liverpool clearly don’t have much of a role for him in their current squad, so a deal should in theory be quite easy to get done.

It’s hard to see Chiesa being at Liverpool for much longer, with the three clubs mentioned considering making a move for the 28-year-old in the January transfer window.

There are no concrete talks yet, according to the Calciomercato report, but it’s possible that we’ll see one of Inter, Atalanta, or Lazio step up their interest in Chiesa soon.

Chiesa hasn’t played a single minute for LFC so far this season, and that follows him also having limited minutes in his first two seasons on Merseyside.

In total, Chiesa has just five goals in 50 games for Liverpool, with this signing really not working out for one reason or another.

It will be interesting to see how much clubs are willing to pay for him now after such an underwhelming spell in England.
