Some evenings bring out the very best of Milano. As the late-summer heat begins to ease and daylight fades, the sun drops behind San Siro, filling the sky with shifting shades of pink, orange and purple. It was against that backdrop on this early-September Saturday that Inter produced a remarkable comeback on the Meazza pitch, in one of those games that are almost impossible to explain and can only truly be lived. Marcus Thuram was part of that emotion too, returning to action at San Siro for the first time this season. The French forward marked the occasion by heading Inter level at 2-2, before Lautaro completed the comeback with the decisive goal.
