Coritiba beat Chapecoense 2-1 at Couto Pereira on Saturday to climb from 11th to 8th in the Brasileirão.

In the 31st minute, Tiago Cóser glanced in from a corner to put Coxa ahead.

After the restart, Joaquín Lavega's cross was swept in by Pedro Rocha (82.) to widen the margin.
